Some low level clouds occurred earlier on Friday with the marine layer.

Cooler Relatively lower maximum temperatures on Friday with a relatively strong sea breeze with the west coast trough inland and the southerly pressure gradient having "bended" with solar heating.

Warmer maximum temperatures from the weekend again with the west coast trough near the west coast, west coast trough moving inland from Sunday and hence cooler maximum temperature with early sea breezes on Monday and Tuesday.

Likely hot to very hot conditions late next week with the west coast trough deepening down the west coast with warm air advection, though still some uncertainty this far out with variation between models and model ensembles.
