Plenty of low level clouds were present on Friday morning with moist low level air.The low clouds cleared around the middle of the day with drier low level air.

Plenty of high clouds were present with tropical moisture from a tropical weather system in the Southern Indian Ocean streams aloft in a subtropical jet stream.

A cold front likely moves over the region today morning bringing a colder air mass, and the slight chance of light showers or drizzle.Plenty of low clouds in the morning capped by a subsidence inversion aloft.

Then high pressure ridge rapidly builds to the south leading to clearing conditions.

A west coast trough forms near the west coast next week leading to slight warm air advection. Some uncertainty on how hot it will be mid week with variation between models and ensemble members but it could be very hot.High level clouds also likely with tropical moisture from a tropical weather system in the Southern Indian Ocean streams aloft in a subtropical jet stream.

The west coast trough likely moves inland back by next Thursday.
