Strong sea breezes occurring today in the afternoon and evening as the southerly pressure gradient "bended" with solar heating with the west coast trough inland.
Easterly pressure gradient rapidly reestablishes over the region with a strong subtropical high pressure system moving to lie south of the region.
West coast trough deepens near the west coast again early next week leading to some warm air advection before moving inland again from Tuesday afternoon.
The west coast trough lies inland until at least the end of the forecast period with weak pressure gradients resulting in relatively weak sea breezes before stronger sea breezes possible on Friday.
We had the first summer without a 40+ Degree day at the Perth metro station since the summer of 2001-2002.
