As predicted, moist air from what was Tropical Cyclone Marcus led to plenty of low clouds today, with rain, drizzle and showers at times especially in the afternoon as a low pressure trough moved through.

The chance of a middle level rain band tonight.

Cooler air mass then lies over the region with sunny conditions by tomorrow afternoon with a ridge of high pressure building to the south.

Slightly warming conditions towards the end of the working week as a west coast trough forms near the west coast with some warm air advection.

The high pressure system likely lies to the south during the weekend leading to a somewhat east-southeasterly pressure gradient.
