Easterly pressure gradient has rapidly reestablished over the region with a strong subtropical high pressure ridge  lying south of the region.

West coast trough deepens near the west coast from today leading to some warm air advection before moving inland again from Tuesday afternoon.

Hot conditions on Monday and Tuesday with even very hot conditions inland on Tuesday with the arrival of sea breezes later during the afternoon.

The marine layer advects onshore from Tuesday afternoon with marine layer clouds likely early on Wednesday.

A strong somewhat easterly pressure gradient probably reestablishes over the region again from next weekend.

We had the first summer without a 40+ Degree day at the Perth metro station since the summer of 2001-2002.
