It was a hot day today with a maximum temperature of 33.1 Degrees Celsius at the Perth Metro station due to warm air advection with a west coast trough offshore. There were some middle and high level clouds as well ahead of an upper/middle level trough/disturbance.

In the next few hours there with excellent radiational cooling temperatures will drop considerably.Temperatures likely rise back later with an increase in dew points, cloud cover and wind.

A cold front moves through the region early on Wednesday with a weak ridge of high pressure over the region thereafter.Further cold fronts are likely to move across the region next weekend.
