Showers occurred  during the first half of Friday in a moist air stream with showers being enhanced by coastal land breeze convergence.

It was sunny from late afternoon as drier air aloft moved in from the northwest.

A pre frontal trough affects the region today bringing a medium chance of showers from afternoon.Higher chance in the far southwest(eg.Mandurah).Can't rule out a thunderstorm with some atmospheric instability.

The strongest cold front since spring last year moves over the region on Sunday morning associated with a complex low to the south bringing showers. The showers would bring plenty of rainfall, possibly heavy with plenty of low level moisture as indicated by dew points up to 18 Degrees Celsius expected. With 400 J/kg CAPE expected thunderstorms possible.

Post cold frontal showers affect the region thereafter with improving conditions from Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure builds to the south.
