It was a hot Sunday with warm air mass over the region with the west coast trough offshore.Maximum temperatures reached 31.0 Degrees Celsius at the Perth Metro station,31.8 Degrees Celsius at Perth Airport and Pearce.
Despite that intense radiational cooling has cooled temperatures to below 14 Degrees Celsius!
The west coast trough moves inland around the middle of the day today resulting in an afternoon sea breeze with lower temps.Maximum temperature will likely occur around the middle of the day or early afternoon.
The slight chance of showers most likely over coastal suburbs tonight and on Tuesday.Much cooler air mass moves over the region bringing typical late autumn weather with 850 hPa temperatures dropping by more than 10 Degrees Celsius.
A weak cold front possibly brushes the region on Wednesday.
Likely radiational cooling of already cool air results in chilly morning on Thursday and Friday.
