A warm air mass lied over the region today with the west coast trough slightly offshore.

The west coast trough moves inland from around the middle of the day tomorrow bringing a sea breeze, advecting the marine layer inland.Marine layer clouds likely from around 5 PM,from the coast first as predicted by ACCESS models.ECMWF has a sunny/clear bias in these scenario.

The radiational cooling of the moist marine layer overnight brings the possibility of areas of fog early on Wednesday, most likely in the north and east where the winds are lighter.

Southerly pressure gradient "bends" with solar heating on Wednesday leading to a significant sea breeze in the afternoon and evening with weaker pressure gradients towards the end of the working week leading to lighter winds by Friday.

Pressure gradient likely strengthens during the weekend leading to slightly stronger sea breezes.
