A cold front moved across the region earlier today having brought plenty of showers. Some post cold frontal clouds have been over the region since. Some post cold frontal showers possible tonight most likely over northwestern coastal areas, contracting offshore as a land breeze develops, but the anvils from the clouds trapped under a subsidence inversion still could spread a little inland like early on Wednesday.

Skies clear by late afternoon.

Conditions rapidly become sunny and warm from the weekend as a ridge of high pressure builds.Hot conditions on Monday as a west coast trough deepens with warm air advection.

Some high clouds possible next week though.

West coast trough likely moves inland back from Tuesday then plenty of uncertainty with variation between models and model ensembles.
