A cold air mass lied over the region on Tuesday resulting in what was the coldest day since December last year.

How cold it becomes overnight depends on cloud cover. With low cloud cover it could easily become very cold with light winds overnight but with high cloud cover radiational cooling will be suppressed.Prospects of cloud cover are mainly from the anvil of land breeze clouds offshore trapped under a subsidence inversion.

With moist air offshore and land breeze convergence showers possible especially over coastal areas early on Wednesday,

A cold front likely brushes the region on Thursday again bringing showers but still some uncertainty at this time.

Cold air mass over the region on Friday.

Conditions rapidly become sunny and warm from the weekend as a ridge of high pressure builds.
