Unusually warm weather persists throughout the forecast period with a blocking subtropical high pressure ridge to the south throughout the forecast period.
Today was the second hottest May day on record with a maximum temperature of 32.7 Degrees Celsius at Perth Metro,it was the latest 30+ Degrees Celsius day in autumn on record.At Pearce it reached 34.1 Degrees Celsius!The hottest day at that station this late in autumn on record!
Some marine layer clouds overnight and tomorrow also with moist low level air.Some high clouds as well.
With west coast trough onshore slightly cooler weather from Sunday but with strengthening high pressure to the south daytime temperatures increasing slightly again.
