Unusually warm until Thursday with warm air mass over the region.Temperatures up to 29 Degrees Celsius possible.

On Thursday night a strong cold front moves across the region ending the warm dry spell.

The cold front will likely be accompanied by thunderstorms. With very strong winds aloft, damaging winds are possible with thunderstorms, even the chance of tornadoes and waterspouts with high vertical wind shear.

On Friday deep cold air mass lies over the region with 500 hPa temps down to -24 Degrees Celsius, leading to the possibility of small hail and thunderstorms.

During the weekend some uncertainty with the possibility of further cold fronts but much weaker ones brushing the region or a high pressure ridge building just slightly south of the region.
