It was extremely dry today with dry air aloft having mixed down.Dew point at Perth Airport dipped to around -15 Degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of around 5%!It was also relatively warm with the warm air mass over the region.

The extremely dry air meant that excellent radiational cooling has resulted in rapid temperature drop.

Some smoke haze also lies aloft.

Middle and high level cloud affect the region in the next few hours and overnight.Virga likely occurs at times,increasing chances of reaching the ground after midnight.

A cold front/low pressure trough moves over the region tomorrow morning bringing some showers.Some stratocumulus clouds bringing further showers behind the cold front with moist air trapped under a subsidence inversion.

Then improving weather conditions with a high pressure ridge building over the region.

The high pressure ridge lies to the south of the region mid working week hence the possibility of smoke haze depending on location of prescribed burns with easterly winds.

A wet coast trough deepens near the west coast with warm air advection,leading to warm conditions on Friday.
