A cold front/low pressure trough moved over the region in the morning bringing some showers.Gusty winds occured with strong winds aloft. Some stratocumulus clouds bringing further showers behind the cold front with moist air trapped under a subsidence inversion.

Improving weather conditions with a high pressure ridge building over the region.

The high pressure ridge lies to the south of the region mid working week hence the possibility of smoke haze depending on location of prescribed burns with easterly winds.

A wet coast trough deepens near the west coast with warm air advection, leading to warm conditions on Friday.
