Typical winter conditions throughout the forecast period with the subtropical high pressure ridge to the north of the region until Thursday.

"Anticyclone gloom" affected  the region on Monday with some light showers and drizzle,before a weak cold front  brushes the region today bringing a high chance of showers.

Still the slight chance of showers on Thursday with somewhat westerly steering flow.

High pressure system moves into southern areas of the country/the Great Australian bight leading to dry conditions on Friday and Saturday.

Another cold front likely moves across the region late on Sunday/on Monday.
