Typical winter conditions throughout the forecast period with the subtropical high pressure ridge to the north of the region until Thursday.
Cloud cover gradually increases overnight with the development of "anticyclone gloom" associated with moist cool air trapped under a subsidence inversion.
"Anticyclone gloom" affecting the region on Monday with possible light showers or drizzle,before a weak cold front brushes the region on Tuesday bringing a high chance of showers.
Still the slight chance of showers on Thursday with somewhat westerly steering flow.
High pressure system moves into southern areas of the country/the Great Australian bight leading to dry conditions on Friday and Saturday.
Another cold front likely moves across the region late on Sunday/on Monday.
