Strong pressure gradient lead to strong gusty winds,gusts in excess of 90 km/h were recorded.With deep cold air mass over the region,there were some isolated thunderstorms and small hail.

With the subtropical high pressure ridge lying to the north continued showery weather on Monday and Tuesday,another cold frontal passage likely on Wednesday."Anticyclone gloom" likely on Thursday with a weak cold front possibly brushing the region on Friday.
