Showers in west-northwesterly flow tonight,showers increasing tomorrow morning with a cold front moving across the region,also possible thunderstorms with some instability.Post cold frontal showers thereafter,deep cold air mass lies over the region tomorrow night and on the early hours on Thursday as indicated by 500 hPa temps down to -26 Degrees Celsius,as a result plenty of showers,possible thunderstorms and small hail.Gusty winds also possible tomorrow especially ahead of showers and thunderstorms,gusts in excess of 75 km/h possible,in excess of 80 km/h near the coast.

High pressure ridge builds over the region thereafter resulting in improved weather conditions,cold morning on Friday with radiational cooling of already cool air,how cold depends on cloud cover.
