A strong cold front moves across the region early on Wednesday with a deep cold air mass over the region thereafter with 500 hPa temperatures down to -29 Degrees Celsius,showers,thunderstorms and possible hail.Gusty winds with showers and thunderstorms.Possibly the coldest air mass of the year so far lies over the region at night,with 850 hPa temps down to -2 Degrees Celsius.

Cold southwesterly air steam on Thursday and Friday leads to further showers.

Another cold front likely moves across the region late on Friday.
