With warm air mass over the region on Sunday,it was the warmest day of winter so far with a maximum temperature of 24.3 Degrees Celsius at the Perth Metro station.

A west coast trough strengthens early today with a weak low approaching the southwest of the state today,ahead of an upper/middle level disturbance.Plenty of middle level clouds,virga today,the chance of elevated showers and thunderstorms.Possibly warmer than yesterday,depending on cloud cover.
