Deep,cold and unstable air mass lied over the regionyesterday with a weak low within the vicinity of the area in the early hours,strong southwesterly pressure gradient in the late afternoon and evening.Showers and strong wing contracted to coastal areas at night with a more southerly steering flow.
Today,slight chance of showers near the coast early,mostly sunny with shallow convective clouds increasing during the afternoon,cold air mass lies over the region with a south-southwesterly pressure gradient.
"Anticyclone gloom" affects the region on Friday with moist low level air trapped under a subsidence inversion.
The next cold front likely moves across the region next Tuesday with a cold air mass over the region thereafter.
