Perth experienced the wettest August in 50 years with 186.0 mm of rain so far!It was also the wettest winter month since June 2005 and the wettest winter in 15 years!

A ridge of high pressure lies to the south.Sunny morning,shallow convective clouds developing from late morning today.

 A west coast trough deepens near the west coast with warm air advection by the end of the working week,moving inland from Friday.
