Effective as of 4:00 AM Monday November 2 2020
Explanatory notes:Showers and thunderstorms today with atmospheric instability associated with steep vertical lapse rates with a cold pool with an upper level trough aloft.
Can't rule out the possibility of small hail with the thunderstorms with the cold pool aloft but instability and vertical wind shear likely isn't sufficient for severe thunderstorms over the Perth Area.
Thunderstorms are most likely in the east and over the hills with a somewhat westerly steering flow from the middle of the day.
