Becoming warmer with the high pressure system in the Great Australian Bight/southern Australia leading to northeasterly winds.

On Friday an upper level trough to the west leads to the development of elevated showers and thunderstorms. A cold front also arrived overnight bringing further showers with the possibility of thunderstorms.

On Saturday, the cut off low lies to the southeast, showery conditions with the possibility of thunderstorms for Perth with the moist flow ahead of the upper level trough.

Showery conditions continue on Sunday in the south-southwesterly air stream.

Improving conditions from early next week with the ridge of high pressure building to the south.
