Some upper and middle level clouds for the rest of today ahead of an upper level trough increasing to elevated showers and thunderstorms tomorrow as the upper level trough approaches closer to the region. A cold front also arrives overnight Friday night/early on Saturday bringing further showers with the possibility of thunderstorms.

Thereafter on Saturday, the cut off low lies to the southeast, showery conditions with the possibility of thunderstorms for Perth with the moist flow ahead of the upper level trough.

Showery conditions continue on Sunday in the south-southwesterly air stream.

Improving conditions from early next week with the ridge of high pressure building to the south.
