7 day weather forecast

Effective as of 4:00 PM Friday June 11 2021

Explanatory notes:

Showers overnight as an upper level trough approaches the region, the slight chance of a thunderstorm as well with the upper level cold pool.

Showers ease by Saturday morning as the upper level trough moves east. Showers possibly redeveloping with solar heating in the afternoon, easing again at night with the development of the land breeze.

Shower chances increase, offshore first early on Sunday with low level wind convergence near a trough which moves over the area during the day.

Areas of fog are possible early on Saturday and Sunday with the radiational cooling of moist low level air.

A cold front moves over the region on Monday leading to further showers, further showers in the cold air mass behind the front, likely clearing by Tuesday night as the ridge of high pressure builds slightly to the south.

Thereafter, fine conditions with cold mornings with very good radiational cooling with light winds under the high pressure ridge.
