Explanatory notes:
The west coast trough moves inland today, hot conditions developing prior to the onset of the onshore flow bringing gradually cooler conditions from afternoon with the marine layer advecting onshore.
Low cloud associated with the marine layer will advect/develop from evening/early night and gradually increase in coverage. These low clouds will gradually clear following solar heating on Thursday.
Comfortable conditions through the weekend with afternoon sea breezes with the west coast trough inland.
Becoming hot again next week as the west coast trough deepened off the west coast again.
