Explanatory notes:

The west coast trough moved inland yesterday advecting the marine layer inland. The marine layer lead to plenty of low clouds. These low clouds gradually cleared following solar heating.

Comfortable conditions through the weekend with afternoon sea breezes with the west coast trough inland.

Becoming hot again next week as the west coast trough deepened off the west coast again.
