Altocumulus castellanus clouds occured during th early hours and morning today but elevated showers and thunderstorms failed to develop probably due to dry air aloft.
A more southeasterly pressure gradient from Wednesday but there would be plenty of clouds on Wednesday with plenty of low level moisture.
