A strong cold frontal passage occured yesterday.Gusty winds occured at times,with gusts in excess of 70 km/h recorded on land,reaching 89 km/h on Rottnest Island.Showers,strong,gusty winds also occurred at night in the cold pool behind the cold front with a low pressure system over the southwest of the state.WInd gusts in excess of 80 km/h were recorded over land.
Partly to mostly cloudy for the rest of today with the slight chance of showers developing with solar heating of land.
