A strong cold frontal on Wednesday with strong pressure gradients and strong winds aloft bringing showers,strong,gusty winds and possible thunderstorms.Wind gusts in excess of 90 km/h possible,especially near the coast.Showers,strong,gusty winds and possible thunderstorms and/or small hail still possible in the cold pool behind the cold front with a low pressure system over the southwest of the state.

The strong winds and showers possibly extends into the early hours of Thursday behind the cold front.Conditions easing thereafter though some "anticyclone gloom".

A weak cold front  brushing the region on Friday and another weak cold front brushing the region on Sunday/Monday.
