Thunderstorm chances decrease by around sunrise as the upper level trough moves to the east but are still possible given the cold pool aloft and showery conditions persist until evening in the moist and unstable southwesterly flow.
Improving conditions on Monday as the cut off low moves away from the region with the flow turning more southerly but still possible showers most likely over coastal areas in the early hours.
Ridge of high pressure builds over the region thereafter leading to fine conditions.
