7 day weather forecast

Effective as of 4:00 PM Saturday May 29 2021

Explanatory notes:

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to move across the region with the cut off low to the south and a moist and unstable flow ahead of an upper level trough.

Thunderstorm chances decrease by around sunrise tomorrow as the upper level trough moves to the east but are still possible given the cold pool aloft and showery conditions persist until evening in the moist and unstable southwesterly flow.

Improving conditions on Monday as the cut off low moves away from the region with the flow turning more southerly but still possible showers most likely over coastal areas in the early hours.

Ridge of high pressure builds over the region thereafter leading to fine conditions.
