Effective as of 12:00 AM Monday June 7 2021
Explanatory notes:
Some areas of fog had developed with radiational cooling (under light wind conditions) of moist air moistened by moist soils by earlier rain. This is now clearing as winds strengthen and cloud cover increases slightly with some stratocumulus moving in from the south.
The tropical low near the Christmas and Cocos Islands likely evolves into a subtropical low pressure system as it gets caught ahead of an upper level trough and lies to the west of Perth towards the middle of the working week bringing showers and possible thunderstorms and also possible gusty winds and raised dust but still some uncertainty this far out.
Thereafter, showery conditions likely persist through the end of the forecast period with generally onshore flow with embedded troughs and cold fronts but some uncertainty on the details this far out.
